from South Korea, Sangmi holds two bachelor’s degrees in education, one from South Korea and the other from the US. From teaching, she learned patience and an ability to listen to her buyers and identify their needs. She is committed to educating her clients and holding their hand through every step of the process. She enjoys coming up with a plan for each individual and fine-tuning it to their specific circumstances and expectations. Bilingual in Korean and English, she worked as a professional interpreter for global businesses such as Estée Lauder and prestigious hospitals in Manhattan and the back and forth between cultures and languages, as well as the need to navigate, interpret, and communicate needs and expectations has also informed her approach to real estate. Sangmi has lived and worked in New York City for more than 12 years. A career in real estate was a logical and exciting transition for this former educator and business interpreter. She never tires of learning more and sharing her knowledge of all this great city has to offer. She enjoys working with different families and educating them about the real estate market. Currently, she lives in TriBeCa with her husband and son. She is a huge enthusiast of art and fashion. She also enjoys traveling, skiing, hiking, and cooking with her husband.
