Juell was so pleased to have the opportunity to design this Beekman Place residence. We had the original working fireplace designed by architect Emory Roth painted a deep grey for a modern seamless look, while staying in harmony with Roth’s original vision.

We had the all of the kitchen cabinetry sprayed in the same deep grey to help create further harmony.
We refinished the original floors, to removing the red from the oak, adding a clear matt sealant to create a neutral palate, changed the fittings to brass to match the original hardware and doorknobs in the apartment.
This 1930, Bing and Bing built residence is truly an OG Manhattan classic.

JUELL then carefully selected furniture, colors and textures to
complement these clients very special art collection.
