How do we develop our therapeutic retreats?
We start with ourselves!
💚As drama therapists, mothers, and women in this world, we always practice our ideas on *ourselves* before we bring them to our clients and retreats.
✨ Creative expression requires vulnerability, safety, and trust. We need to understand how it feels in the body to be asked: what brings you joy? What stands in the way? What old beliefs might need to shift? Who or what can help?
🪴Periodically, we meet for *mini-retreats*, where we engage in deep dialogue about the experiences we want to provide, process using creative interventions, and challenge ourselves to show up as the most authentic, generous, and intentional versions of ourselves!
🦸♀️ Here we are investigating our own personal relationships to joy as a resource, using the format of a “Hero’s Journey”….exploring big questions through art and creativity allows for a depth of knowledge and experience that simple conversation rarely touches.
🎭 Curious about drama therapy or creative arts therapy but unsure where to start? Drop us a line - we’re always happy to jump on a quick phone call and invite you in.
