Allowing a .230 average batter to challenge a strike call. Absolutely ridiculous. I don’t understand why they allow anyone to challenge. Baseball was a chess game until 2021. I’m 86, watched and played since I was 10. Loved the  game. Now it’s become so boring that after 3-4, innings. I have to turn it off, no matter what teams are playing.
Played for 3 years on a NYC high school championship team and on scholarship with Denver University along with track.   After college I played for money teams in Prospect Park Brooklyn.

I entered Denver University in 1957 so I never saw the first game between Air Force and. I did however, see the first game where Denver lost 36 to 6. Denver was a second rate team to begin with and the Air Force could’ve won by much more.. I played baseball and ran track on a scholarship.

Denver was noted for its hockey team, which just won a national title. I believe that it was in 1958 that Denver played the Russian national hockey team twice and beat them by very high scores. They were also noted for their basketball and skiing teams.

Because of health issues I no longer work, after 4 1/2 years, at 86, at the East Delray Home Depot garden department. My Sunday hours were from 7a-noon. Best shift. Between 7 and 10a I would do the physical work necessary and prepare for customers. Then people would start coming in, normally after church, in good moods looking to make their lives better with whatever plants, trees, etc., they wanted. It was always a pleasure.
I miss it!!

My Alma mater won the national hockey championship. I graduated 1961. They always had one of the best hockey teams in the nation.

The Artemis mission was amazing. Four people risking their lives so that future AMERICAN CITIZENS, can have a better life in the future.
My best wishes to them and all of the brave astronauts who follow in their wake.

My grandson was a handful a few months ago, he’s still a handful. Would I want it any other way? No.
