The World Cup is already in full swing — and I can't think of a better time to talk about extraordinary homes in extraordinary cities. 🌎⚽

Sotheby's International Realty spotlighted five host cities — Mexico City, Los Angeles, Toronto, Miami and New York — and what $10–12M looks like in each one. Spoiler: the Manhattan penthouse just seven miles from the Final venue in New Jersey is something else.

As someone who works in one of those five cities every day, I'm proud to be part of a global network that connects buyers and sellers across all of them.

Take a look — and if any of these markets are on your radar, let's talk.

Some design elements never go out of style.

Brick is one of them.

As a real estate broker with Sotheby's International Realty in Manhattan, I've always appreciated how brick brings character, warmth, and a sense of permanence to a property. Whether it's a historic townhouse, a converted loft, or a contemporary residence, brick has a unique ability to connect architecture with craftsmanship and history.

This article explores why brick continues to be one of the most enduring and sought-after materials in luxury residential design.

A great read for anyone interested in architecture, design, and timeless real estate.

One of the most powerful tools in luxury real estate is storytelling.

Angelina Jolie’s $30 million listing of the historic Cecil B. DeMille estate shows how a property’s history and character can be just as important as its features.

Luxury buyers aren’t only purchasing a home—they’re investing in a lifestyle, a legacy, and a unique story.

As a broker with Sotheby’s International Realty in Manhattan, I believe every property has something distinctive that deserves to be highlighted.

When a home’s story is told effectively, it creates an emotional connection that can make all the difference.

In Manhattan's ultraprime market, buyers aren't just evaluating square footage — they're evaluating how thoughtfully every square foot has been designed.

The luxury dressing room is a perfect example. What was once treated as an afterthought is now a flagship feature: climate-controlled cabinetry, museum-grade lighting, bespoke millwork tailored to a specific wardrobe. These aren't indulgences — they're signals of a home that has been built with genuine intention.

In my experience working with buyers and sellers at this level, spaces like these consistently shape perception and drive decisions. When a home feels curated from the inside out, it shows.

This piece from Sotheby's International Realty explores what the ultimate dressing room looks like today — and what it says about the homes that have them.

Did you know that buying a home before age 30 can make you 22.5% wealthier by the time you turn 50? 🏡

A brand new report from Realtor.com shows just how much homeownership timing affects your long-term financial health:

✅ Buy before 30 → +22.5% net worth by age 50
✅ Buy at 33–37 → +11.2%
✅ Buy at 38–42 → only +1.5%
✅ Buy after 43 → virtually no wealth difference

And homeowners overall? Their average net worth is 38 times higher than renters of the same age. That is not a typo.

Whether you are thinking about buying your first home or helping someone you love make that decision — the earlier the better. I am always here to help you navigate the process.

I love this story. 🎬
Ava Gardner. Frank Sinatra. Hollywood's Golden Age. And a stunning mid-century home in Los Angeles that just hit the market for $2.995 million, listed by my Sotheby's International Realty colleagues in Beverly Hills.

This is why I love working with Sotheby's. Every listing has a story. Every property has a soul.

If you're curious about what $3M buys you in LA, or what it buys you here in Manhattan, I'm always happy to talk. 😊

A $70 MILLION townhouse in the West Village just went into contract — and honestly, it doesn't surprise me one bit. 🏙️

As someone who works in Manhattan real estate every day, I can tell you this deal is a perfect reflection of where the market is heading. The ultra-luxury buyer has changed. They're not just looking for height and views anymore — they want space, character, history, and a neighborhood they can actually live in.

The West Village checks every single box.

105–107 Bank Street is a stunning 13,000 sq ft, six-story townhouse designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects — and yes, John Lennon and Yoko Ono once lived there. The buyer even took it fully furnished, right down to the last detail. That's how move-in-ready luxury looks in 2026.

Downtown Manhattan is having its moment at the very top of the market, and I don't see it slowing down.

As a Manhattan broker, I spend a lot of time thinking about what makes a property truly special, and lately that conversation has been taking me all the way to Tuscany.

More of my clients are thinking about second homes in Europe, and it's not hard to see why. Tuscany offers something that's hard to find anywhere else: centuries of history, world-class food and wine, breathtaking landscapes, and a luxury real estate market that matches all of it.

From a restored medieval castle in the hills of Arezzo to a sun-drenched villa near Lucca with a pool surrounded by vines and olive trees, the properties here are extraordinary. And Florence itself? A piano nobile in a 16th-century palazzo in the heart of the city is the kind of investment that doesn't come around often.

This Sotheby's International Realty article is a wonderful read, whether you're dreaming or seriously considering a move.

This story made me smile this morning.

The Dublin home Taylor Swift rented in 2021 just hit the market for $6 million, listed by our colleagues at Lisney Sotheby's International Realty in Ireland.

What I love about this is that it reminds me why people fall in love with certain homes. It's never just about the square footage or the address. It's about how a place makes you feel. Taylor Swift could have stayed anywhere in the world, and she chose a warm, beautifully restored period home on a quiet Dublin street.

That says everything.

It’s where the pop superstar stayed while then-boyfriend Joe Alwyn filmed Conversations With Friends—and it’s now for sale.

One of the things I love about working with Sotheby's in Manhattan is the connection between real estate and the art world.

This article on fine art photography collecting is such a good read. It shows how personal and powerful a collection can be. The homes I work with often reflect exactly that kind of intentionality.
