Some people say this was progress but I think it’s a shame that the original Union Carbide headquarters was torn down it was a mid century modern masterpiece that was full of asbestos. The lobby was three stories tall and the elevator core was painted in bright Chinese Red. It was a pleasure to have worked in this building in the 1990s.

Last fall I planted 550 spring bulbs in front of as a gift to a building I have lived in for almost 27 years. Taking care of the tree gardens in front of her beloved has been for over 10 years ! The first have just begun to emerge. I wish to personally thank the board of directors for allowing me to make our building and Street a happy place to live.
