Why do I love real estate?

Because when I came to New York in 1983, my mother and I lived in a shelter. When she finally got the chance to move into an apartment in Washington Heights, we ended up in an HPD building that was basically a crack house.

I was only 8 years old, helping my mom clean up crack vials and roaches just so we could make it feel like home.

Never did I imagine I would one day own a home — and now help others achieve that same goal.

The American Dream is not over.

You just need the right lender, the right realtor, guidance, and some savings. Maybe a house feels out of reach right now, but there are still paths to homeownership through co-ops, condos, and programs many people don’t even know exist.
