If you own a co-op apartment in Brooklyn Heights, the Q1 2026 data makes a compelling case for listing this spring.

Co-ops in NW Brooklyn are outperforming much of the borough, with sales volume up 16.5% year over year and the number of closings climbing 16.7% compared to Q1 2025.

Sellers are routinely achieving their full asking price with very little negotiability. With overall co-op inventory declining 4.3% year over year across Brooklyn, qualified buyers are competing for fewer listings, which supports pricing power. As the spring season ramps up, new listings are expected to bring more competition to market.
