She began her career in professional services and entrepreneurship when she worked as a claims adjuster for Marsh & McLennan Companies, the premier global professional services firm. While working for the firm, she also attended the College of Insurance. An entrepreneur at heart, in 1997, Susan started the first free standing, privately held nursery/preschool, Discovery Childcare Learning Center, Inc., in South Orange, New Jersey. She purchased the property, and opened with 30 students. Within 3 years, her student rooster grew from 30 to 220 students ranging from ages 4 weeks to 6 years old. With her first SBA business loan, she grew the school’s revenue to an estimated annual revenue of $1.2 million dollars. A mother of 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls, Susan was born and raised in Grenada, West Indies. She moved to London (U.K.) and then settled in the United States. As a child, Susan had a strong passion for film and television. When her son, Sir Barr, went to a casting call for Wilhelmina and was signed to a three year contract, Susan delved into learning the do’s and don’ts of the entertainment industry so as to make wise and smart choices for her son’s career. She soon merged her business acumen with her love of the industry, and discovered her true love: Talent Management and launched Susan B. Talent Management LLC, 2007. Today she is a force to be reckoned with, as she takes each client acting career to heart. Her motto “work hard to make it look easy”

Susan B. Management and Productions, LLC specializes in developing and growing actors whether they’re just getting into the entertainment business or are seasoned actors. Susan currently represents television and film actor, Michael Wright, best known for his role as Eddie King, Jr. in the classic 1991 Robert Townsend film, The Five Heartbeats, and the 1997 HBO series Oz as Omar White from 2001-2003. She has also works with Elgin Baylor Lumpkin (better known by his stage name, Ginuwine, an American singer-songwriter dancer and actor.) In 2013, Susan opened Susan B. Productions, which produces both television series and theatrical productions for Broadway.
