65 Jackson Street, Williamsburg. Rebuilt in 2016 with a focus on how a home should actually feel to live in.

The shelving in the kitchen? Built from joists salvaged out of the original house. The beam on the second floor landing? Still structural - but now holding aerial yoga silks in addition to the ceiling. The backyard has cherry blossoms in spring and a persimmon tree that holds on into winter. There's a motorized skylight that turns the whole place into a breeze tunnel when you need it.

Some people rebuild a house. We love it when they reimagine one.

Built in 1899, and featured in the Park Slope Civic Council annual House Tour in 2017, 479 4th Street embodies the concept that some things genuinely improve with age.

Three floors. Nine rooms. Skylights that have been pulling afternoon light down through the center of the house for 125 years. Decorative fireplaces on the parlor level that have outlasted every trend that tried to replace them.

The people who restored this one understood the assignment: don't fight the house. Work with what it's already telling you.

828 Union Street, Park Slope. Built 1884 by a developer named William Flanagan, advertised in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle as having the “best and most approved style.”

Fast forward 140 years: the tile is still in the vestibule. The carved oak mantel is still in the parlor. The pier mirror is still on the wall, still catching the same light. Even the updated kitchen still features the original stove. One of nine "V front" Neo-Grec brownstones built on this block, 828 Union has spent the better part of a century and a half holding its ground in the Park Slope Historic District.

It's a small reminder that the best architecture quietly outlasts everything else.

Selling a home today isn’t just about when you list—it’s about how you launch.

Our 3-phase marketing strategy is designed to build demand thoughtfully before a property ever hits the broader market. By first sharing a home privately within our network, then expanding visibility, and finally launching publicly, we’re able to test pricing, generate early interest, and position the listing for a stronger debut.

The goal is simple: more exposure, better positioning, and the strongest possible outcome when your home officially goes live. It's a strategy we've seen work time and time again.

If you’re thinking about selling - even if it’s just a conversation for now - we're always happy to walk you through the strategy and what it could look like for your home.

Pantone’s 2026 Color of the Year, Cloud Dancer, is already showing up in interiors: soft, airy tones that make spaces feel brighter, calmer, and more expansive. It’s the kind of palette that photographs beautifully and creates the sense of light and openness buyers respond to the moment they walk through the door.

Trends may come and go, but great design always supports great homes. And when the two align, the result is a space that feels like home.

The early signals for the spring market are starting to come into focus.

Pending home sales are up 2.7% compared to last year, and recent data shows 4–5% more homes going under contract than at this time in 2025—an encouraging sign that buyer activity is gradually returning.

At the same time, new listings remain below last year’s levels, which could create an interesting window for sellers heading into the spring market: fewer competing listings and a pool of motivated buyers already beginning to move.

As always in NYC real estate, timing and positioning matter. If you’re considering selling this year, or wondering how these trends might shape the spring market, we're always happy to talk it through.

🌿 Spring Cleaning = Smart Home Strategy

A deep clean isn’t just about fresh air and open windows — it’s about protecting your home’s value.

Kitchens, closets, and bathrooms get the most scrutiny from buyers. A clean, decluttered home photographs better, shows better, and ultimately sells better.

Even if a move isn’t on your immediate horizon, thoughtful upkeep keeps your property market-ready year-round.

If you’d like a personalized prep checklist based on your specific home and neighborhood, we're happy to put one together.
