The National Realty Club has unfortunately had to postpone our annual Blockchain panel. In response to Mayor Bill de Blasio’s addresses on the Coronavirus, the NRC has decided it is safer to postpone the second annual Blockchain panel in regards to the health of our members and guests.

The second annual Blockchain panel is merely postponed, so don’t be worried if you were looking forward to our panel of speakers we had in store for you. We will be keeping all of our members and attendees updated, being as we are very excited to hold this panel discussion.

The National Realty Club wants to thank all of our members and guests for being so understanding, as well as continuing to provide our organization with your ongoing support.

The National Realty Club’s next event is this Wednesday, which is only TWO days away! The NRC is excited to present our annual Blockchain Panel.

In 2019, we had a great discussion on our first ever NRC real estate tokenization and attracted real estate owners, CRE blockchain company founders and other related audiences or real estate blockchain fans. This year, as blockchain finally took the spotlight from cryptocurrency, it will be a great time to continue our discussion on the STO market and how blockchain could become a solution to help improve the real estate industry.

Blockchain 2020 will be hosted at the Harmonie Club on Wednesday, March 11th, from 6:00pm until 8:30pm.

Meet Patrick O’Meara:
Patrick O’Meara is the Chairman and CEO of Inveniam Capital Partners, a finance and technology firm. He leads the business development efforts and is product manager for the firm’s proprietary and patent-pending transaction platform – Inveniam IO. Meet Merri Silverstein:
Merri Silverstein is an Angel Investor who has studied and invested in many start ups. Her drive has brought her to also join a V.C. fund, advise start ups, mentor women in stem and has a great understanding of our present fiat and the future of digital currency. With two degrees in the sciences, Merri’s passion is captivating and she is looking forward to bringing more women into Blockchain through various sources of media. She has written articles on Crypto, been interviewed live and interviewed over 20 start ups for a TV pilot. She is passionate to see changes for a better world.

Meet Donald Carey:
Donald Carey is a Principal at BLOKK Data. BLOKK has been focused on the transfer of property data between Local Governments and the private sector. Data management and transfer is a critical step in the application of Blockchain Technology entering the Real Estate sector. Mr Carey was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and CS First Boston. He is credited with developing the forward delivery market in Municipal Bonds. As manager of the Municipal Capital Markets group Mr Carey was a leader in the commitment to technology for better transparency and pricing. Mr Carey has been a business development executive in Title Insurance for the past 15 years at First American and Kensington Vanguard. Mr Carey is also active in development projects in NYS. He serves on the Board of LEAP Transportation.
