Tiago, my running 🏃 partner, couldn’t join me today and he was missed. So, I had to put in the work without him. A glorious 9 mile run, partly in the rain, from home, around Central Park, and back home. Did it while fasting too. You now why I fasted? My woman is away and I was too lazy to cook. I had amazing energy today. Next run 🏃, I’m taking Tiago with me.

Congratulations 🎉 to my brother, Chris, and his lovely wife, Yanet. They gave birth to Lucy Ulissa Davila. She’s possibly the only Puerto Rican Ethiopian, that I know about. She’s named after my mom and sister. Ulissa resembles so many of our family members (Mom, T**i Laura, and my cousin who is also named Ulissa). We look forward to the day we can meet her; bring her home soon.

Full Moon fun. Our lighting was complimentary provided by the full moon. With long exposure and standing still, we were able to capture some unique shots. We experimented with additional lighting from a cell phone placed on the sand and at our feet. The shots taken where we face the moon 🌕 could trick you into thinking it was daytime. We also had to take a photo using flash and that looked alright too.
