As they say, if we knew then what we know now…

I can remember selling real estate in Manhattan 20 years ago, when many agents and buyers looked at Brooklyn with hesitation — a very different perspective than they have today.

I can still picture my grandfather working on his building with his homemade scaffolding, partly because he didn’t want anyone else messing it up. Lol. ❤️

So many memories — the people, the neighborhood staples, and “the neighborhood” itself — are a part of what made it truly special.

So much has changed, but those memories will always live on. ❤️

Imagine how much our thoughts shape our decisions.

I try to teach my kids the difference between conscious thinking and the subconscious beliefs that quietly influence us. The space between the two is where growth happens.

Whether it’s life, investing, or real estate, the best decisions come from slowing down, questioning assumptions, and relying on facts, experience, and common sense—not just emotion.

That’s a lesson worth remembering.
