There are all kinds of market research and measures and predictions. I look at all of these and every morning I receive updates from streeteasy;
how many new listings became available and how many listings were sold the previous day.
This morning is the first time for a very long time that there were more sold listings than new listings.

As a friend and as a real estate broker, if you are thinking of purchasing, there are deals to be had, great deals.
If you are selling, be realistic, prices did not plummet, but they are down. If you have a good broker, listen to your broker, if not, find a good broker and listen to him or her.
