Manhattan had two big deals close this week - 800 Fifth Avenue (between 61 -62nd Street) sold for $800M+ and the IBM Building (590 Madison Avenue) traded for $1.080 billion. The Naftali Group plans to tear down 800 Fifth and re-build as a very high end condo. RXR purchased the IBM building as an opportunistic addition to their formidable Manhattan office portfolio.
