As we welcome Rosh Hashanah and the beginning of a new year, this year carries an especially meaningful reminder.
Twenty-five years ago, on September 11, 2001, our country experienced a day that changed us forever. We remember the lives lost, the families forever affected, the courage of our first responders, and the extraordinary way people came together in the days that followed.
Rosh Hashanah asks us to reflect on the year behind us, appreciate the blessings we sometimes take for granted, seek forgiveness, and think about how we want to live in the year ahead.
Life can change in a moment. September 11 reminded us of that. And for me, as an Israeli, the events of October 7 reinforced that lesson in a deeply personal way.
So as we begin this New Year, my wish is simple:
May we hold our families a little closer, be kinder to one another, appreciate the moments we have together, and never postpone saying thank you, I’m sorry, or I love you.
May the year ahead bring health, peace, safety, kindness, and much-needed sweetness to all of us.
To my clients, friends, and community, thank you for being part of my life and allowing me to be part of yours.
Shana Tova U’Metuka.
With love and gratitude,
