Sometimes showing up mattered more than what you brought.
Sometimes being included mattered more than being noticed.
As an adult, I’ve learned something powerful:
the smallest acts of kindness can leave the longest shadows.
There are moments from childhood that don’t fade—
not because they were loud,
but because they preserved dignity.
I try to remember that now.
Because you never know which quiet decision
becomes someone else’s lifelong memory.
