Keep an eye on your mailbox or check your property's assessment online at cookcountyassessor.com.

Palos Township, including Palos Hills, Hickory Hills, Palos Park, and Palos Heights, is currently undergoing its triennial reassessment, which occurs once every three years. Property owners should have started receiving Reassessment Notices in the mail. Appeals are now open, and the deadline to file is July 17, 2026.

If you believe your property's assessed value is inaccurate or does not reflect current market conditions, now is the time to review your assessment and consider filing an appeal.
