I shared this today through my Adriatic Investments Instagram page because one of the biggest mistakes international buyers make is thinking of “Croatia” as a single real estate market.

It isn’t.

Split, Dubrovnik, the islands, Istria, and smaller coastal communities can differ dramatically in price, seasonality, rental potential, accessibility, inventory, and buyer profile.

The same principle applies everywhere: the first question shouldn’t be, Where is the most beautiful place to buy?

It should be: What do I want this property to do for me?

Whether it’s Chicago, the western suburbs, California, or the Adriatic, the right real estate decision starts with clarity.
