A BOIL WATER ADVISORY has been issued for the water supply for customers in the following areas in Southwest Rockingham County:

▪️NC Highway 65
▪️Ogburn Mill Rd.
▪️Colly Farm Subdivision
▪️Colly Place Subdivision

Any bacteria that may have entered the water supply during a water main repair could make you sick and are especially concerning for people with weakened immune systems. You are urged to boil water for eating, cooking & drinking purposes for both humans and pets for the next 24 hours.

We will provide an update to the public as soon as the water samples return to safe levels for human consumption.
