As an Entrepreneurship completer, Essie is putting what she has learned in the classroom into action while continuing to grow her talents in graphic design, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Experiences like this give our students the opportunity to explore careers, develop real-world skills, and make connections right here in our own community. Ocracoke School is grateful to Blue Heron Realty and Essie’s industry mentor, Kelli Sopher, for partnering with us to provide this meaningful learning opportunity! We are SO proud of you, Essie! 🐬🩵🐬

📣 **Meet Essie, Blue Heron Realty’s newest marketing intern!** 💙

Essie is a local high school senior spending time with us this school year to get some hands-on experience in marketing — from brainstorming and content creation to learning how a campaign comes together from start to finish.

We love being able to give local students an opportunity to learn, create and gain real-world experience — while finding another way to give back to the Ocracoke community we’re so lucky to call home.
