Another huge myth I hear all the time:
“My credit score isn’t perfect, so I can’t buy a home.”

The truth is — you do NOT always need an excellent credit score to qualify for a home loan. 🏡

There are different loan programs available, and every lender has different guidelines. Some buyers are surprised to learn they may still qualify even if their credit isn’t perfect.

In many cases, lenders look at:
• Your income
• Debt-to-income ratio
• Employment history
• Down payment
• Overall financial picture — not just one number

And sometimes, even if you’re not quite ready today, a lender may be able to guide you on simple steps to help improve your chances sooner than you think.

Don’t count yourself out before exploring your options. You may be closer to homeownership than you realize!
