The MCPS community is invited to participate in upcoming public information meetings for the reopening of Charles W. Woodward High School boundary study and the opening of Crown High School and the expansion of the Damascus High School boundary study. In these sessions, the next round of proposed boundary options for the 2027-2028 school year will be presented, including accompanying maps, articulation patterns, data tables and an interactive map tool. MCPS will also share surveys for each boundary study so that attendees can provide meaningful feedback after exploring the options and accompanying resources. How do you leverage a list price to generate the highest sales price possible? Pricing is 50% science, 50% feel.

I presented my client with a pricing strategy designed to create the greatest buyer pool in order to create competition, drive the price up and generate the most favorable terms.

Ultimately, we ended up with a sales price that was 109% of the list price! Did we underprice the home? Of the 171 single family homes sold in Spring Ridge over the past 5 years, this listing had the second highest price per sq ft. I’m good with that. Most importantly, my clients were VERY good with that.

Sometimes I spend so much time focusing on the now and planning for the future, I forget to stop and appreciate all the blessings of the past. 2024 was a great year and I am incredibly grateful for all the opportunities to work for and alongside some absolutely incredible people.
