2026 City Market Season

The Auburn Parks and Recreation Department partners with local growers and artisans for the city’s farmers market, City Market.

City Market invites the community, growers and consumers alike to join us every Saturday from May 23 to August 29 from 8 to 11 AM.

The purpose of City Market is to help local farmers, growers and artists to sell their fresh, local and handmade products to community members.

Cast into summer with the 32nd Annual Fishing Rodeo sponsored by Evans Realty! Join us at the lake at Auburn Technology Park South on Saturday, May 9th from 7 – 11 a.m.

The first 175 children registered will receive a FREE rod and reel courtesy of Evans Realty and Auburn Parks and Recreation will supply the bait.

The cost is $5 per child. Registration will open Wednesday, April 1st for Auburn residents. Anyone outside of Auburn can begin registering Monday, April 13. Every participant must be pre-registered there will be no registration taken day of event.

Door prizes will be given out to lucky participants and prizes will be awarded to the biggest fish caught in each age category. We will also give out an award for the most fish caught overall. This event is a great chance to bring kids and their parents together with America's favorite pastime...FISHING!

There is a limit of five fish per child and parents must stay with their child at all times.

Join Auburn Parks and Recreation for the 25th Annual Auburn CityFest to be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Kiesel Park.

Enjoy live music; food, nonprofit, arts & crafts and fine arts vendors; children's activities; special appearances and much more! This free outdoor arts and crafts festival is held RAIN or SHINE on the last Saturday of each April.

6th Annual Eggcellent Easter Scavenger Hunt

Join Auburn Parks and Recreation for the 6th Annual Eggcellent Easter Scavenger Hunt beginning Saturday, March 28th and ending Wednesday, April 1st.

A clue will be posted on Facebook and Instagram each morning of the scavenger hunt leading participants to an Easter egg in one of our parks or facilities.

Participants must then use their phones to scan the QR code on the Easter egg which will lead them to the next clue.

When participants have found all of the clues, they will be prompted to enter their name into the drawing for one of five prizes.

Each day you participate is a chance to earn another entry! Five lucky participants will win a $25 gift card to a local business. Winners will be drawn at random on Thursday, April 2nd.

Only one entry per person per day will be counted. FREE to the public.

5th Annual Breakfast with the Bunny

The 5th Annual Breakfast with the Bunny event will be on Saturday, March 21st, 2026, at Lake Wilmore Park Recreation Center beginning at 8 a.m.

This event is for ages 5 and under, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. The buffet-style breakfast is $10 per person and activities will include a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny, balloon animals, face painting, a petting zoo and egg hunt! This can’t-miss event is sure to produce some cherished family memories and adorable photo opportunities. If there is inclement weather on the day of the event, it will be moved to an indoor location.

Pre-registration is required. No walk-ups will be accepted on the day of the event. $10 per person. Children ages 0-6 months are free with the purchase of an adult ticket. Children AND adults must be registered.

The Egg Hunt will begin at 10:30am for Ages 0-3 and 10:45am for Ages 4 & 5! Children age 0-6 months are free.
