Mortgage rates fell this week to their lowest level since September 2022, dropping to 6.01% for a 30-year fixed loan, down from 6.09% last week. Last year at this time, rates averaged 6.85%.

Freddie Mac’s chief economist, Sam Khater, says lower rates make buying a home more affordable and help homeowners save money through refinancing, with applications more than doubling over the past year.

After thirteen years of holding my family's treasures I decided to auction off my memories. These treasures have been hiding but now they can be yours. At 70 years old, and a cancer survivor...I realized that I won't be around much longer. These are treasures that have been in a storage unit waiting to be released so that others can enjoy what we did for so many decades. Everything from my awesome tools to Linda's beautiful vases and kitchenware are available to be used and then maybe handed down. When you bid on the items you will be honoring Linda and I and a portion of the proceeds will go to charities that further research on breast cancer and lung cancer. The link I'm gonna post is just the beginning of all the awesome things you can own. All of the things that you bid on and ultimately own are a piece of our lives that you keep alive.
