Three Nebo School Board seats are up for election this Nov, with ballots arriving in mid-Oct. The district receives a significant portion of our property tax dollars, making these races especially important. Please research your district and candidates and VOTE! While my district isn’t on the ballot, I would vote for Joseph Earnest and Perry Ewell if I could.
In real estate news, activity has slowed for both buyers and sellers. With rates nudging higher, buyers are more cautious and have significantly more choices. Builders are competing hard with rate buy-downs, closing cost assistance and appliance packages. For sellers, pricing correctly from day one is more important than ever. Homes that are priced well and show well can still sell, but buyers have little reason to overpay when they have so many alternatives.
For buyers, the slower market can mean more negotiating power, less competition and opportunities to ask for concessions. Whether you’re buying or selling, strategy matters, and I’m always happy to help you figure out your best move.
