🏡 Chicago Suburb Market Update – 7/8/26

The latest MRED MLS data shows the Chicago suburbs are still active.

A few key takeaways:

Naperville, Aurora, and Plainfield have some of the most homes currently for sale.

Downers Grove and Glenview have two of the highest median single-family home prices, with Glenview over $1M and Downers Grove at $925,000.

Aurora, Joliet, and Oswego have seen some of the biggest increases in available homes, giving buyers more options than last year.

Even with more inventory, most suburbs still have only 1–2 months of supply, which means the market remains competitive.

Since January, I have listed 15 homes for sale and helped 12 clients get their offers accepted on their next home.
