I met with a woman a few years ago that had been referred by another client. When we met she said that her friend told her, "She isn't like a "typical" realtor.". I found that both hilarious and so very true.

When most people think of a realtor they think of a skinny woman, all dressed up with heels and lipstick. None of that is me. I am super casual. (Although I do love a good lip gloss!) I need to prepared for any and all situations. I often walk first into a basement and collect the spider webs on my face; I have helped clients clean their houses and spread mulch; I have crawled through small spaces to see what in the world is in there; I've stuck my head into attic spaces where I didn't have any clue what I would find! I don't know how you do that in heels. I'm not knocking it. It just isn't me.

And on a day like today, when it is rainy and chilly and I have no face to face client meetings, I am working in my home office, in sweats. If someone calls today and wants to go see a house, this is probably how I will show up too! But with lip gloss. I am here to educate and guide, not to look the part! 👠💄

I loved helping Jake and Jirah find their perfect house! They are sooo my kind of people! We looked at a few doozies 🫣 and wrote a few offers 🤑 but this was the one and now it is theirs! Congrats to Jake and Jirah!!! 🤩 (Shout out to Kelli for referring them! 😘)

This is an extremely important part of home ownership that many first time (and 2nd and 3rd time) homebuyers don't figure into their budget! Having a house account that you put 1% of the home value into each year will make those surprise repairs and replacements so much easier to handle. 🤑

We are seeing a lot more cancellations than we used to so some houses must go under contract twice. This house was one of them. The first set of buyers just never showed up to their inspections!👎Thankfully the next buyers were fabulous and loved the home. They will soon have twins to bless their new home, too. 👶👶 All's well that ends well!
