The headlines are full of noise, but what's the actual story behind the Kansas City real estate market? The numbers for September 2025 are in, and they paint a picture of a healthy market that's working for both buyers and sellers.

Here's the data that matters for you:
* Home Prices are Strong: We saw a healthy +1.9% increase in home prices compared to this time last year. This is sustainable growth, not a bubble—great news for sellers looking to build equity and for buyers making a solid investment.
* Sales Are Up! The number of homes sold is up +13.2% year-over-year. This proves that despite everything, people are confident and actively making moves in KC.
* More Homes to Choose From: Inventory is up +8.7%. This means more options for buyers and a little less competition.
* A "Buyer's Breath": The average days on market is now 39 days, up +8.3% from last year. For buyers, this means less pressure. For sellers, it means having a smart pricing and marketing strategy is more important than ever.
