Welcome back, Palisades! 🤍 Now that the Village is officially open, we had to send our girl Talei to the first farmers market back in the Palisades to see what she could find.

The shopping list was simple: a candle for the coffee table, fresh flowers for the kitchen, and fruit that may or may not make it home before we eat it. Add a little live music along the way and, because errands should occasionally end with tequila, a final stop at Prima Cantina.

LA real estate is always nuanced. We’re currently in a bidding war for one Westside house, while other really good houses are sitting patiently waiting for their person. One flies off the market with 10 offers. The next sits for two or three months. Both great houses. Both deserving.

If Nancy Meyers made a movie about Brentwood, we’re pretty sure it would look a lot like this. 🤍

A timeless Cape Cod with the kind of warmth that makes you want to cancel your plans and stay home. Sun-filled rooms, a kitchen made for slow Sunday mornings, a backyard built for family dinners and long afternoons by the pool. DEV DIARIES | We seem to have found ourselves in a sticky sitaution 🫠

This week, we're walking through the latest progress of our Palisades project - both literally and figuratively. The ceiling is BLUE, the floors are slowing being installed, and the glue is sticky. Some of these choices took weeks of debating. Others? We let you decide.

Note to selves: stop wearing stupid footwear to construction sites... but also, just be more careful next time. Happy to report the sandals made a full recovery.
