We tried Chuy’s 🌮 and Luke and I are still thinking about this jalapeño ranch dip situation 🔥🔥

🌶️ Jalapeño dip: 10/10
🍹 Drinks: 10/10
🍚 Rice + fajita toppings: DELICIOUS
🌮 Actual fajitas: …we’ve had better 😬
🍗 Luke’s chicken flautas: apparently the only thing saving his entire experience 😂

The service + atmosphere? 10/10.
The food? Ehhhhhh. 😅

⭐️ MY RATING: 5.5/10
⭐️ LUKE’S RATING: 6.5/10

So basically… come for the drinks, jalapeño dip, vibes, and flautas.

POV: you’re a 22-year-old Realtor who thought buying a house would be easy because ✨you literally do this for a living✨

Spoiler alert: I was wrong. 💀😅

3 things I learned buying my FIRST house:

1. You will suddenly care WAY too much about things you never knew existed.
2. “It’s just a house” is a LIE. Your bank account, emotions, and sanity are all involved.
3. Being a Realtor does NOT make you immune to the “omg what if I made a terrible financial decision” spiral. 😂 it’s normal to feel worried.

Would I do it again? Absolutely.
I love this home so much.

POV: your realtor finally gets to be the client on the other side 🥳

I’ve helped so many people through the homebuying process, but getting to experience it all for myself was something completely different.

From applying for the loan, getting pre-approved, searching for my house, making an offer, inspections, paperwork, the waiting, the stress, the excitement… all the way to closing day — I wanted to document what the process actually looked like behind the scenes.

Because as a realtor, I can explain the process all day long… but there’s something different about being on the other side of the transaction.

So here’s a little look into my own homebuying journey — the exciting parts, the stressful parts, and everything in between. 😊

And honestly, getting to say “I’m a homeowner” is still something I’m wrapping my head around.

God always makes a way. 🤍

Some clients turn into friends… and then some closings feel like a full-circle moment. 🏡🤍

Earlier this year, I had the privilege of helping Alyssa’s mom buy a home… and now, months later, I got to stand beside her and Griffen as they closed on their very FIRST home🥳

I don’t think I’ll ever get over how special this job is. Getting to be trusted by one family member is an honor, but getting to come back around and help another member of that family find their place to call home?! That’s the kind of thing that makes this career so incredibly rewarding. I feel so blessed to help families like this.

And somewhere between contracts, inspections, negotiations and closing documents… these clients became sweet friends of mine. 🤍
