✨ The TRUTH Always Wins in Real Estate ✨

As a Realtor, part of my job is to be honest with you about what your home could sell for — even when the truth isn’t what you want to hear. And recently… I lost a listing because I was honest.
Yes, you read that right!

Sellers reached out asking for a professional valuation. They mentioned they were going to try selling on their own first, and if that didn’t work, they’d list. They also shared the price another agent had given them — and after deeply reviewing my comps and running multiple CMA reports, I simply could not justify that number. The value wasn't there.

So I told them the truth, knowing it would likely cost me the listing.

➡️ They tried FSBO — no success.
➡️ Then they listed with the other agent — still sat on the market.
➡️ Price was dropped.
➡️ Home finally sold… for the SAME price I originally recommended.

This is why honesty matters. 🚫 Overpricing only leads to frustration, longer days on market, and missed opportunities. ✅ Accurate pricing leads to realistic expectations and successful results.

I don’t tell homeowners what they want to hear — I tell them what they need to hear. Because at the end of the day, my job isn’t just to win listings — it’s to protect my clients’ best interests.
