💡 Tax Tip for Homeowners 💡

Did you know you may be able to deduct the interest you pay on your mortgage when filing your taxes? 🏡

The mortgage interest deduction can help reduce your taxable income—especially in the early years of your loan when most of your payment goes toward interest.

A couple things to keep in mind:
✔️ You must itemize deductions to claim it
✔️ It typically applies to new loans up $750,000 and grandfathered loans up to $1,000,000
✔️ It can include interest on your primary (and sometimes secondary) home

It’s one of the key financial benefits of homeownership—and worth talking through with your tax professional to make sure you’re maximizing it.
