Good, uninterrupted week! The team wrapped up the deck—500 sq ft of it. It adds a ton of curb appeal to the building. Plumbing sewer lines inside are underway, with piping run to each space and rough-ins ready to open. Dirt backfill and compaction are mostly done, and the access road layout is formed. Can’t complain—it’s been a solid week.

This week we were slowed down by rain on two days, which left the site too wet to finish the dirt fill work. We did get the water lines run into the building and completed some dirt backfill inside. We also kicked off deck installation—the columns are now set on all the pilings. It’s going to be a busy week ahead as we wrap up the interior dirt fill and keep moving on the deck.

10/10/2026

For the majority of the week, the crew focused on backfilling and getting the grades to match the site plan elevations. The pictures show the support areas leveled and the dirt around the building fully backfilled. The water loop is finished, and the sewer and grease trap are complete. We also began cutting the access road so we can move forward with vertical construction. Good weather helped us wrap up the fill, and we performed several tests to verify soil strength.

10/03/2026

Despite the weather situation, the team worked on completing the grease trap installation and inspected it. The manhole piping was also installed and inspected. Additionally, the water loop was filled with water, cleaned, and completed. Although the weather was bad and drizzling, the team decided to form the footer pads for the pylsters and pour them the following day. That is a big chunk of work that clears the path for backfilling next week. We are targeting backfill and are also still planning to start installing the beams for the patio. The weather will be better next week, and the team is targeting catching up on work that was delayed due to weather.

09/26/2026

This week, work was a wash. Approximately 2 1/2 inches of rain poured down in Parker on multiple days, disrupting the work. There are multiple open excavations left on the site, waiting for the next steps in the foundation work. All of them are muddled with water. The team is working rigorously to pump out the water so it can dry and evaporate quickly. Multiple sump pumps were installed to pump out the water. Rain is forecast for the weekend and next week, but not as much. We covered some spots with plastic, but mitigating rain on a bigger scale like this is tough. Overall, there was very minimal progress, limited to the water loop pipe, but that is also filled with water and requires rework.

09/19/2026

We continue to maintain the momentum. We successfully completed the installation of all sewer lines and manholes for the sewer system. Along the way, we installed and connected the grease trap. This is a major milestone that required extensive excavation and piping. Additionally, the retaining walls are being formed and poured. The polisters on the footers and formations are finished. Backfilling in the main building area is ongoing; the dirt portion is complete, and we will soon begin the structural soil fill. Administrative work for the fit-out, such as Core and Xcel, is complete. Despite some rain, we have had another productive week.

09/11/2026

Another week of meaningful progress. We have successfully formed the footers for all structural pads and keyway footers for retaining walls. Additionally, concrete has been poured across all structures and retaining wall footers. The sewer lines have also been pulled, and inspection is complete. The Core and Xcel documentation has been submitted, clearing the way for upcoming work. Backfill in the main foundation is ongoing, and compaction testing has been completed for every foot of backfill. Overall, progress is going well. Looking forward to next week.

09/04/2026

The momentum picked up this week, and we were able to complete the structural fills and soil compaction testing for all the footers for the pillars. Additionally, the keyways have been created for the retaining walls. Rebar installation and footer forming for the pillars are complete. For the keyways and retaining wall footers, work is planned for next week. Overall, this week's progress is significant. We also purchased a large amount of steel for the building, which is staged and ready to go. Xcel and core application reviews are complete and ready for buildout. A schedule from them will be published next week.

08/29/2026

The rain continues to hinder us; we weren't able to make significant progress this week. To give you some insight, we are required to fill the holes with structural soil at the correct density and moisture, then compact it and test it. This process happens for every one-foot section to the top to ensure the ground's strength is reliable enough to support the foundation for the pillars. Due to the rain, we're not getting consistent results, and the engineers are hesitant to certify it with the foundation for the deck pillars, as it could pose safety risks. The team is doing their best to manage this situation. Other logistics related to Xcel for gas and Core for electric, including clearance paperwork, are complete for this week. We hope to pass the tests this week, and the concrete teams will then proceed with the next steps.

08/21/2026

This week wasn't a good week; we couldn't make much progress due to the weather. The moisture in the ground prevented us from passing the moist test to backfill and also from setting up the pads that support the pillars for the patio. The holes we dug filled with water, and we had to drain them multiple times as it rained several times. I am hoping for a better week next week.
