Every first-time festival needs someone willing to help turn an idea into a real place.

Bachmeier Property Management, LLC is the founding sponsor of the Pendleton Pepper Party—providing the vacant retail space at 305 SW 6th Street, printing support and the original sauce collection purchased at the PDX Hot Sauce Expo.

That first collection became the starting point for the tasting table we’re now building with generous product donors from around the country.

Thank you to BPM for helping us bring this first event to downtown Pendleton.

During Round Up week, Wednesday & Thursday we'll be adding a bit of heat to your day!

Trying out something new. Meant to be a low key, giving this thing a try kind of vibes and let's have some fun along the way!

Pendleton Pepper Party - Where you get to sample a decent collection of hot sauces we've personally gathered.

If we receive positive feedback we hope to grow this event into an ACTUAL food festival next year. This year for our first try we're keeping in small and simple. If you'd like to participate in some way, please let me know through one of the links on the website.

This year, the City added a second code enforcement officer and is launching a proactive, education-focused approach. The campaign will begin with two common code concerns:

• Street tree clearance
• Sidewalk maintenance

Residents may see information on the City’s website and social media, inserts in utility bills, or receive a Courtesy Warning door hanger if a concern is identified. The goal is to give community members time to understand the requirements and help keep Pendleton safe, clean, and attractive.
