š Stop Scrolling! Meet My AI Twin.
(Yes, I know this is a very amateur video, but I am simply trying to make a point about AI and real estate.)
Wow, that's pretty cool, right? AI is incredible technology, and it can help with a lot of things... BUT it can't be me.
As 2026 approaches, you will see more of this in real estate. This is why buyers & sellers must understand the core difference between transaction-minded agents and referral agents before they contact someone. Some agents will begin to lean heavily on AI to become ātransaction machinesā fast, efficient, and hands-off. But as a referral agent, I know thatās NOT how you buy or sell a home. This isnāt just a transaction; itās a major chapter in your life.
Hereās the truth about real estate and technology: AI will never replace a good realtor. AI can handle parts of the transaction and marketing very well, but it will never handle the relationship. AI is a great tool (I use it as a tool too), but thatās all it is. While transactional agents increase their reliance on automation, Iām doubling down on the authentic, human connection that defines my business. Iāve been in real estate for years, and when I started full-time as a realtor with RE/MAX At The Crossing, I set out to build a business rooted in relationships and referrals. Today, I operate mostly by referral, and Iām incredibly thankful for that. It took me almost 5 years, but it was built on trust, commitment to my clients, integrity, excellent communication, and care. AI can't do that, and a transaction agent won't do that.
I am super excited about 2026, and I plan to grow my referral business even more. Please reach out to me for any questions that you may have about real estate. I would love to hear from you, and if you have used me in the past, please continue to share my name with the people that you care about.
