I spent the evening at a Chamber event with my mentee, Waylon, and I couldn’t be more proud of him!

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that sometimes the most important thing you can do is simply show up and be in the room. Be willing to meet new people, have conversations, make connections, and put yourself in situations where you can grow.

And that’s exactly what Waylon is doing.

I’m so proud of his willingness to step outside his comfort zone, take advantage of opportunities, and invest in his future. Those are the qualities that will take him far in life.
