Globe Dye Works

Globe Dye Works Where Art Meets Industry: Event venue and growing community of artists, artisans, and small business GDG acquired the facility in December, 2007.

The Globe Dye Works compound is one of the finest industrial facilities in Philadelphia. It was established in 1865 along the Little Tacony Creek (now Torresdale Avenue) in Frankford. Over the years, the facility increased in size and number of buildings as each subsequent new section was built and integrated into the whole. The company that sustained the buildings was an economic engine, churning out its product for 140 years. The Greenwood family ran the business, dyeing and winding yarn in the same buildings until 2005. We are a dynamic community of artists, craftspeople, non profits, and entrepreneurs. Please visit our website globedyeworks.com for a full list of tenants and businesses that have made their home in The Globe.

“Open Spaces Looking for Faces”
We’ve got three units available in Globeland, USA!

A couple of freshly built spaces are available immediately - a clean and efficient commercial space and a beautiful live/work loft - both located in the freshly built K wing of the Globe Dye Works building.

Plus, a gorgeous live space is opening up soon! Bright, airy, and full of character; not to mention the best view in the city of the Amuneal building!

Inquire today if any of these suit your fancy! We are around weekdays for tours.

Link in bio for more info.
