🍳 Brunch Review in Mt. Laurel, NJ
We decided as a family to start a new tradition and celebrate Mother’s Day and Father’s Day together in one brunch somewhere in between the two holidays. Prospectors Steakhouse in Mount Laurel has been highly recommended. So we gave it a shot!
We did make a reservation, but at least today, we didn’t need one. It was busy enough, but tables were available immediately. Although we were there for the brunch buffet with a fixed price, the regular menu was available. We ordered our drinks and we’re on our way!
Our waiter, Mike, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He pointed out the omelette station and waffle station to be our first stops. There’s an entire other section of breakfast buffet items and a salad bar.
Chef Gator made my omelette. It was a few different veggies with egg whites only and a medium amount of cheese. I have to say it was one of the best omelettes I have ever had!
The waffle station had four different kinds of waffles that were freshly made. There was the regular kind, banana, birthday cake, and the one I had, which was cinnamon apple. Pecans or chocolate chips could be added. And some additional toppings like whipped cream, syrup, and fruit compote were also available. The waffle was so large I shared it with the rest of my family.
The buffet also had everything from eggs Benedict to bacon to chicken wings to desserts.
