I'm a big Toby Keith fan and was so sad he died. I happened to see there's a Toby Keith tribute on Sunday night in Boca Raton at Crazy Uncle Mikes. It's a brewery & restaurant, and the food looks amazing. We probably can't make it, but they're going to be live-streaming the show. I just spent about an hour scrolling and checking out the various bands they've had playing just in the last week. Reading an article from our local Sun Sentinel newspaper, where they cite Redfin, saying the median price of a "starter home" in Fort Lauderdale is $277,700. If you ask me, that sounds more like home prices about 10 years ago. I just ran my own search on MLS and found there are currently 812 single family homes for sale in Fort Lauderdale, with a median price of OMG... $1.1 Million!!! So next I made the search for homes under $1M, which brought the number of homes on the market down to 384 with a median price of $585k. So I'd sure like to know where they're finding those cheap houses!

Real estate broker, coach, radio host and author Todd Tramonte, who is heading up the event, Kevin McCarthy, founder of Real Geeks, Brendan Koopersmith who has helped me numerous times with tech support, not to mention many super agents and brokers from around the country. 🏠

25 Years in Real Estate, serving South Floridians. When I started in 1998, it was a "normal" market. That lasted a few years and then the market went crazy! It's been up, down, up and then up even more, and now it remains to be seen where we're going... but I've always believed in furthering my education. I just received another designation, CREN - Certified Real Estate Negotiator, and will be going to the 5th Annual Real Geeks Conference in Dallas TX next week, meeting with some of the top agents in the country to gain further insight into the newest technologies and trends in the market. 🏠
