October 4th–10th is Fire Prevention Week. This year’s focus is on safer charging habits and reducing the risk of fires caused by lithium-ion batteries.

Help protect your home and community by using manufacturer-approved chargers, replacing damaged cords, keeping devices away from soft surfaces while charging, and unplugging them once fully charged. Small habits can make a big difference in keeping our communities safe.
