Martin County residents fought off a data center in Indiantown. Then they moved the goalpost.

The Silver Fox proposal, a 2 million square foot AI campus on 606 acres of wetlands, was withdrawn in April after the community pushed back. Two weeks later the Village Council approved FPL’s rezoning of nearly 6,000 acres that explicitly allows data centers. Residents sued. The lawsuit was dismissed July 2nd and cannot be refiled.
