☀️ Favorite Local Summer Spot ☀️

Funny enough, at closing yesterday, my sellers and I found ourselves telling the new family all about what a great little community Pardeeville is and sharing some of our favorite local spots. So it only seemed fitting that today's spotlight goes to Chandler Park! 🏖️

Besides Merrimac, Chandler Park is hands-down one of my family's favorite places for summer fun. And it's not just a beach!
🏖️ A sandy beach perfect for sandcastles and mermaid kingdoms
🛝 A great playground for the kids
⚾ Baseball fields
🌳 Plenty of shelters and grilling areas for family gatherings, birthday parties, and celebrations

The water is clean, there always seem to be new friends to play with, and there's plenty of space for everyone to enjoy.

When we bring the boat, there's a good chance we'll have our SunChill water trampoline out on the lake. If you spot it, come say hi! 👋

We also absolutely love spending the 4th of July there. The fireworks over the lake are one of our favorite summer traditions. 🎆

🚩 The biggest red flag I’m seeing in homes right now?

Poorly executed DIY repairs. 😣

Buyers notice the little things…uneven flooring, sloppy trim work, sketchy plumbing fixes, and instead of seeing value, they start wondering what else wasn’t done right.

☀️ Merrimac Staycation Itinerary ☀️

Who says you need to travel far to feel like you're on vacation?

📍 First, stop at Merrimac Memorial Park! Swing overlooking the lake, snap an iconic photo, and let the kiddos burn off some energy. (Adults are absolutely allowed on the swings too...I won't tell. 😉)

📍 Then, grab a burger from Ferry X-ing (if you know, you know 🍔). Enjoy the patio with a cold drink, their mojitos are 🤌🏻🤌🏻 and watch all the cool cars cruise by. Last time I was there, a Shelby Cobra rolled through, and it's officially my new dream car. It was absolutely beautiful!

📍 Cool off with a scoop from Merrimac Ferry Landing Concessions featuring Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream. 🍦

📍 Hop aboard the FREE Merrimac Ferry and take in the beautiful Lake Wisconsin views. Bonus points if you recreate the famous Titanic scene. 🚢😂

It's the perfect reminder that some of Wisconsin's best destinations are hiding right in our own backyard.
