My husband and I have five children and eight grandchildren, which keeps us very active in our
community. I have been a member of the Portage Public Schools Angling Road PTO and chaired many positions. I am also a member of the Portage Garden Club which meets monthly and maintains
community gardens throughout the Portage area. I have a passion for the arts and am a HAP (South Bend Hoosier Art Patrons) and have served on the board of directors for the Vicksburg Cultural Arts Center. I am an animal enthusiast and show and breed Australian Shepherds for conformation and
performance. I am active in the American Kennel Club, Australian Shepherd Club of America, The United Kennel Club and a founding member and on the board of directors with the Michiana Australian Shepherd Association.
