Kitchen Table Conversations
Some of life’s biggest decisions don’t begin in a conference room. They begin at the kitchen table.
They’re the conversations between spouses wondering if it’s time to downsize. Between adult children trying to help aging parents. Between families deciding what to do with a home filled with decades of memories. Between siblings navigating an inheritance. Or simply someone quietly asking, “What should I do next?”
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of sitting at a lot of kitchen tables. I’ve learned those conversations are rarely just about a house. They’re about family, memories, changing seasons of life, and figuring out what comes next.
I’ve learned that having someone who will listen, explain things clearly, and help you understand your options can make all the difference. That’s the role I hope this series can play for you.
In the weeks ahead, we’ll have honest conversations about life’s biggest transitions - from downsizing, right sizing and inherited homes to helping aging parents, making difficult decisions, and navigating the changes that come with every season of life. My hope is that these conversations leave you feeling a little more informed, a little more confident, and a little less overwhelmed.
If there’s a topic you’d like me to cover, leave it in the comments or send me a message. Chances are, if you’re wondering about it, someone else is too.
Until next time, pull up a chair. We’ll save you a seat at the kitchen table.
