Thanks for all the great tips!
ποΈ Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start of camping season in the Pacific Northwest β and we've got tips to help you do it right.
For 30+ years we've helped Pearl District adventurers store their camping gear, and our 2026 guide pulls together everything we've learned: how to pre-pack a camp kitchen so you're never repacking, the apps worth having before you head into low-signal country, why trash bags are still the single best thing in your pack, and how to deal with campfire smell before it moves into your gear for good.
One thing we really want every camper to read: Oregon's 2026 fire season officially started May 14 β earlier than a lot of people expect β and restrictions are already active across parts of the state. Campfires are fully prohibited on several Central Oregon rivers through October 15, and rules vary by district elsewhere. Always check the restrictions for your specific destination before you build a fire.

π Johnson Street β 50% off for 2β3 months on select units (starting as low as $25/mo)
Web rates, contact-free rental, and U-Haul truck/van rentals available at both. Safe travels out there β and thank you to all who have served. πΊπΈ
