👋🏼 Hi, I'm Morgan! If you're new around here, or maybe you've been following along for a while and realized you don't actually know much about the person behind the real estate posts... here's a little more Morgan for you. 😂

Yes, I'm a REALTOR®. 🏡 But I'm also a fiancée, a homeowner, a New Hampshire girl, a dog and cat owner, an outdoor enthusiast, a lover of old houses, a local business supporter, and someone who will drop everything to go on an adventure.

I love snowmobiling, dirt biking, exploring little towns, finding good food, supporting local businesses, spending time outside, gardening despite having the furthest thing from a green thumb, listening to past and present country music, cooking and baking from scratch, and making our little corner of New Hampshire feel like home. 🌲

And somewhere along the way, I decided I wanted to help other people find their version of home, too.

Real estate is a huge part of what I do, but it's not the only thing that makes up who I am, and I think that's part of what makes working with me a little different. I want to know you, not just your price range and your wish list.

📚 Happy First Day of School! 🍎

There's something about the first day of school that makes you stop and realize just how quickly time goes by. So, in honor of all the kids heading back to school this week, here's a little throwback to my own first day of kindergarten. 🥹

One of my favorite parts of being a REALTOR® is getting to be part of so many families' stories beyond the closing table. There's something pretty special about seeing past clients send their little ones off to their first day at a new school, in the home they chose for their family. 🏡❤️

A home purchase is so much more than a transaction. It's the neighborhood where your kids ride their bikes, the backyard where they play, the school they'll walk into on their first day, and the place where all those everyday memories happen.

To all the parents, students, teachers, and school staff heading back this week, I hope you have an amazing first day and a wonderful school year! ✏️🍎

Buying my first home at 21 completely changed the way I look at real estate.

Like a lot of first-time buyers, we heard every opinion imaginable. Some people thought we should rent first. Others thought we should wait. But we had a goal, we stuck with it, and becoming homeowners is still one of the best decisions we’ve made.

Looking back, here are four things I wish I knew before buying my first home:

🏡 Homeownership is more achievable than you might think. If buying a home feels out of reach, don’t count yourself out before exploring your options. Having a plan and the right guidance can make all the difference.

🤝 It’s okay to explore your lending options. Every lender has different loan programs, communication styles, and areas of expertise. We met with a few before finding the right fit for our goals, and that experience showed me just how important it is to build the right team around you. In fact, the lender we ultimately chose is someone I now confidently recommend to my own clients.

🛠️ Expect the unexpected. We thought we had planned for everything, but homeownership comes with plenty of surprises. Every repair, project, and unexpected expense has been a lesson; and honestly, it’s all part of the journey.

🔑 Waiting isn’t always the best strategy. We spent a long time searching for the “perfect” house because we were nervous to make the leap. Once we shifted our mindset, we found a home that checked most of our boxes, fit our budget, and gave us the opportunity to start building equity while creating a place to call our own.

Buying my first home didn’t just teach me how to be a homeowner. It shaped the way I help my clients today. I know how exciting, overwhelming, and emotional the process can feel because I’ve been there myself.
