Robin Cavallaro - REMAX Realty Group Robin Cavallaro - Associate Broker & Military Relocation Specialist
RE/MAX Realty Group Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me!

I view my relationship with my clients as “me working for you.“ I am never pushy or demanding as this is your process so I work at your pace. With buyers, I prefer to do a consultation first. I want to get to know you & what is important to you in your next home while taking the time to explain the whole process to you. Then, we look at houses within your pre-approval budget until you find “the one”. While touring the houses, I will remind you of your wish list & let you make the decisions. Once you find the right house, I will guide you until the keys are in your hand. With sellers, my goal is to successfully reach the settlement table with terms you are comfortable with. I will give you advice on how to stage your house & select a price where you are most likely to attract a buyer. Then, I will work hard to help you reach your goal. Throughout the process, I am there to give you honest feedback & advice. To be better prepared to serve my clients, I take advantage of as many training opportunities as possible. While the abbreviations do resemble alphabet soup, each designation provides advantages to my clients:
• Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) - intensive 4 month training which only 13% of all Realtors complete!
• Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) & Seller’s Representative Specialist (SRS) - in-depth training on the unique needs of buyers & sellers & creative ways to address them.
• Military Relocation Professional (MRP) - deeper understanding of PCSing & VA loans that I had not acquired via personal experience. I began my career in 2007 after the Coast Guard transferred my family for the 3rd time in 7 years. With each move, I developed a greater passion & understanding of real estate. In 2010, we settled in Calvert. I love the relaxed lifestyle, the people & the small town feel while being so close to DC & Annapolis. I look forward to meeting with you to discuss how I can help you reach your real estate goals!

If you’re waiting to save 20% down, you may have more buying options than you realize, especially with the right loan program.

A 20% down payment can be helpful, but it isn’t a rule for every homebuyer. Many loan programs allow qualified buyers to purchase with less upfront, though the tradeoffs can include mortgage insurance, different monthly payments, or stricter approval requirements. If you’re planning to buy, this...

Higher financing and renovation costs mean successful flips now depend more on buying right and budgeting carefully.

Flipping homes in 2026 takes more patience and precision than it did during the fast-moving market of previous years. With borrowing costs, labor, and materials still elevated, profitable deals often come down to strong underwriting and realistic renovation planning. That doesn’t mean flipping is ...

A “best” retirement state is personal, so this is a helpful starting point for comparing what matters most to you.

StateCalc ranks retirement-friendly states by looking at taxes, cost of living, healthcare access, property taxes, climate, and lifestyle. Florida, Tennessee, Wyoming, South Dakota, and Nevada lead the list, but the article also makes a good point: the best choice depends on your own priorities. A l...

If your living room never quite feels pulled together, the problem could be something as simple as an undersized rug or visible cords.

Sometimes the small design choices make the biggest difference in how a living room looks and feels. A slower market can be frustrating for sellers, but stepping back and adjusting the strategy often works better than chasing the market downward.

More homeowners are running into something that barely existed during the peak housing frenzy: listings sitting on the market longer than expected. This article looks at practical ways sellers can reassess pricing, presentation, repairs, timing, and alternative options when a property isn’t gettin...
