🍂 WHY SEPTEMBER CAN BE A GREAT TIME TO SELL IN MONMOUTH COUNTY 🏡

Everyone talks about the spring market...but September deserves some attention too. And here' why:

🍎 Buyers are still out there - Families may be back into their school-year routines, but serious buyers who didn't find what they wanted over the summer are still looking.

🏠 Less competition can work in your favor - Some sellers pull their homes from the market as summer ends, which can mean fewer properties competing for buyers' attention.

🍁 Fall buyers tend to be motivated - Many people looking in September have a reason to make a move - whether they're relocating, trying to settle before the holidays, or simply ready to stop waiting.

🌻 Monmouth County looks pretty good in the fall - Beautiful neighborhoods, mature trees and fall curb appeal can make for some great listing photos and showings.

💰 And the market is still strong - As of August 2026, Monmouth County's median sold price was $750,000, up 6.38% year over year, while homes were spending an average of 40 days on the market. The county remains a seller's market.

So if you've been saying..."Maybe we'll wait until spring" it may be worth a short conversation before you fully decide to wait.

LOCAL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT

Crazy Story Books 📚

Has anyone been to this little gem in Red Bank yet? They opened their doors in May and it is SO much more than just a bookstore.

It is an independent, family-owned shop with books for kids, teens, and adults, plus book clubs, author events, kids' activities and other community events.

I love seeing new businesses like this become part of the Monmouth County community - especially places that give people a reason to slow down, browse, discover something new and actually connect with each other.

Just got home from my daughter's game. She cheers for 7U tackle and it is the cutest thing to watch 🥰

There were games going on for kids of all ages, families everywhere, kids cheering each other on, and an amazing feeling of being part of a community.

It reminded me that sometimes, home is so much more than the four walls you live in.

It's the fields where your kids grow up.
It's the families you see every weekend.
It's the local traditions and little moments you'll remember for years.
It's feeling like you're part of something.
