I can’t remember the first time I ever walked into Monmouth Mall… but I’ll never forget the last.

In 2024, before the demolition and transformation into Monmouth Square, I took one final walk through a place that was part of growing up in Monmouth County.

On a rainy Memorial Day weekend, this would have been the mall’s time to shine — escaping the weather, killing time in the food court, late-night movies, meetups at TGI Fridays, back-to-school shopping, first jobs, first dates, and memories we didn’t realize were becoming history.

As a real estate agent, I understand how places evolve. As someone who grew up here, I also know that redevelopment doesn’t just change buildings — it changes the map of our memories.

What’s your favorite Monmouth Mall memory?

Alright, I owe Gianni’s an apology 😂🍕

I somehow left them off my Red Bank pizza list… and after this pepperoni hot honey slice, I had to come back and make things right. Extra crispy, extra crunchy… this thing was bordering on something beyond pizza. Absolute perfection. 🔥

The Red Bank pizza debate continues. Where does Gianni’s rank on your list? And what slice am I trying next?

Hidden gem in Red Bank 📬🇺🇸

Everyone knows the busy Broad Street post office… but the little West Side branch has a completely different feel. Quiet, neighborhood-oriented, old-school. The kind of place that feels frozen in time in the best way possible.

And just down the street sits the former Sigmund Eisner uniform factory, where uniforms for American troops and Allied forces were produced during World War I and World War II.

For me, places like this always feel personal. My family came to Red Bank in the 1880s, and generations of Setaros lived and worked on this side of town. My grandfather counted church collections at St. Anthony’s, my family’s safe house operated near the rail lines and West End during Prohibition, and relatives worked in and around the industrial heartbeat of this town as Red Bank grew into what it is today.

Heading into Memorial Day Weekend, it’s impossible not to think about all the local families whose stories passed through places like this — immigrants, factory workers, veterans, railroad workers, and the generations who built this community.

That’s what I love about Red Bank. Even a small neighborhood post office feels connected to a much larger story. 🇺🇸

One of the coolest additions to BroadWalk this year? The new Connection Corners 🔋☀️

Relax, recharge, and hang out right in the middle of downtown Red Bank with seating areas featuring:
🪑 Chairs + benches
☂️ Umbrellas for shade
🔌 Solar-powered tables with USB charging ports

It’s such a simple idea, but it completely adds to the vibe of BroadWalk — making Broad Street feel even more like a true gathering space for the community.

Pause. Plug in. Gather.

Hidden gem alert in Red Bank 🍲

Tucked in the little alleyway next to Dublin House is Harvest Moon Hut (yes—Hut, not café 😅) and they have some of the best soups in town. One of those spots you could walk by a hundred times and miss—unless someone tells you.

Great soup, cozy vibes, and one of those true local favorites that makes Red Bank special.

What’s your go-to order there?

9 seconds… and you can already see it—kids learning by playing.

Yesterday at the Red Bank Green Fair we debuted our immersive educational video game trailer with Monmouth County, featuring CYCLE—a hands-on experience that turns recycling into something interactive, competitive, and actually fun.

Built by , this is what the future of education looks like:
🎮 Learning by doing
🌱 Real-world impact
🧠 High engagement

This is just the beginning. Schools, towns, and events—this is coming to a lot more places soon.

If you’re interested in bringing this to your community, let’s talk.

Red Bank hits different.

It’s not quiet… it’s alive. Horns, movement, people, energy — it feels like a mini city by the shore. You get that buzz, that walkability, that constant activity… but still come home to a true Jersey Shore town.

That’s the magic — best of both worlds.
